Refund policy

Cancelling your order

Within 48 hours of placing your order, you can cancel for a full refund. No fee, no questions. Email kevin.mcintyre@brisasummerkitchen.com or call 407 930 9669.

After 48 hours, a 40% restocking fee applies. Your island is built to your selected door style, finish and layout, and is released to production as soon as that window closes. The fee is charged by our manufacturer and passed through at cost. It is not a penalty and we do not mark it up.

Changes within the first 48 hours cost $75 per change. Changing colour, door style or grill position after production has been scheduled is treated as a cancellation, not a change.

Delivery and freight damage

Your island ships fully assembled and is delivered kerbside on a lift gate truck. Inspect it on the day it arrives.

If you can see damage before the driver leaves, note it on the delivery receipt and photograph it. That makes the claim straightforward.

If you find damage after the driver has gone, tell us as soon as you can and send photographs of the island and the packaging. Signing a clean delivery receipt does not stop you making a claim. Keep the packaging until the island has been checked.

We handle the freight claim with the carrier and the factory. You do not deal with either of them.

Returns after delivery

Unopened and uninstalled islands may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

The 40% restocking fee applies.
Return freight is paid by you.
The island must be repalletised in its original packaging and in resaleable condition.

Once an island has been installed, connected or modified it cannot be returned.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the returned island being received and inspected, or within 10 business days of an approved cancellation.

If we are late

If your island is delayed by the manufacturer beyond the quoted lead time, you may cancel at any point during that delay for a full refund with no fee. Delays on our side are our problem, not yours.

Warranty

Cabinets carry a limited 25 year manufacturer warranty. Stainless hardware is covered for 5 years and the countertop for 1 year. Grills, side burners and refrigerators are covered by their own manufacturer warranty. Fading is considered normal and is not covered. Warranty claims are handled by us on your behalf.
